what is this on my clam

what is this green thing on my clam it bothering the clam it wont open all the way
I know what it's not and it isn't no shroom
it's green with a yellow ring and black lines around it's mouth
don't look nothing like a lobo like I thought it was a few months ago
and how would I remove it from my clam with out hurting either of them
I would re-home it on the other side of my tank

Looks like a coral of some sort, but the picture doesn't have good enough resolution for me to guess what. I would say cut it off and super glue it to a frag plug or a piece of rubble. You shouldn't hurt the clam as long as you don't break its shell.
