Diatoms

It s either diatoms or algae.

Diatoms will died by themselves once the silicates are consumed.
Algae can be controlled with reducing the time that you keep your lights on.

What's diatoms? And how do I get rid of it?

Oh sorry didn't see that. Is it hard to get rid of?

Don't know.
Some people experienced a looong periods of time wit the diatoms, up to 6 months. There is a fish that eats diatoms, called ottos.

Other people suffered for a month or two, and then they just going away.

Ohhh wooow.. sounds like a pain -.- and you're sure that its diatoms? I don't think my petco or petsmart sell Otto's so I'm screwed..
