What is this?

I'm cycling my 20g tank. This white fuzzy stuff is growing on my air tube...only the air tubing. Is it algae? Fungus?

It will go away on its ow it poses no threats. You can clean it off but it usually just comes right back

I did clean it off today while doing a water change. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something bad. Just curious how it only grows on my air tubing!
