What kind of fish is this

I have a 6 inch common pleco. I had him for around 6 months now and i cant find out what exact kind of species he is. Anyone know? And i have a 9.5 inch long tiger shovel nose catfish. He has a white stripe on his side. Is this normal? I have never seen this in any other tiger shovelnose
