im not menagerie and i dont have any exp with those fish yet. but my 2 guesses is maturity or the size of the tank.

ive finally decided now that i got the tank im going to keep the bricardis in it. let them breed and sell the siblings now and then. im thinking to keep like 4-5 in there. will that be okay?

also will it be okay to keep a bristlenose pleco in tehre?

Hey Endgame~My brichardi were picking on the shellies I had in with them. After doing lots of reading on-line, I found out that breeding brichardi can take over tanks as large as 50 gal. I like to play it safe.
Since my brichardi started breeding, I noticed the broods getting bigger, but not by much. By the time I can count the fry, there has been a max of 15 after three breedings. I believe immaturity of the parents results in small broods. At least that's the way with Mbuna.

krap-Are you giong to keep the brichardi in the 29 gal?

yeah i decided i am. im planning on buying the araganite or crushed coral. im probally going to buy this aragnite at petco 22$ for 20 lbs. i was planning to buy it on bigals because its like 15$ for like 30 lbs. but since were going to the store today i think ill just get the ones here.

here are some choices of sand im getting

I looked at the sand in the other thread, but since I don't need to alter my water, I have no suggestions--sorry.
In a 29 gal you could have 4 brichardi and a small pleco, such as the bushy nose that you mentioned. Give the brichardi plenty of hiding places. Lace rock, Texas Holey rock, or flat rocks that you can pile on top of each other should do nicely.

im planning on going to this rock shop and buying some slate and stacking it

will a SAE work in there? because they loko really cool.

and if they do doesn any1 have a secure site that sells SAE's for under 5$ with shipping decent. because none of them around here sells them. they sell CAE's but not SAE's.
