What might this be?

To the right of the feather duster, there is something that has been growing out of the rock. Any idea what this could be?

Almost looks like an anemone. Almost. :/

I cannot answer that definitively, but it does have any motion in the current as the feather duster does and it does not respond in any way if the hermit crabs start climbing on it.
