Ive worked with the solid plastic ones like those Tony.. I would run the moonlights down the back of the reflector and wire it with the wiring harness thats up in the hood.. with the florescent ballast.. you could put them in the front to try and hide them from the front view though..

Submersible huh. Why Not? Get the bulbs and get some glass test tubes about 2 inches long or shorter, wire the lights, run the wire through some tubing and through a plug of some kind and place them where you want them. Then you can create any effect you want.
