+1 means that Hoovercat agrees ( he may be spending too much time on slashdot and digg.com :p ) and thinks that the diagnosis is correct. Get rid of that one if you can. They are plant eaters IME. The simple addition of a few loaches to your planted tank may alleviate the problem

If all else fails, dose the tank heavily with African cichlids and I guarantee your problems will be solved :D

If you don't happen to have a tank big enough for those fish and/or don't want them, there are a couple of manual methods you can use for removal. The smoosh method works great. Anytime you see one, smoosh it against the glass. Once smooshed many fish will enjoy a special treat they couldn't otherwise get to. Another method is to put a lettuce leaf in the tank right after lights out. In the morning it should be covered with snails. Simply remove the leaf and snails. Great for those that get queasy over the smoosh method.

A scream arises from the direction of France as thousands of chefs tear their hair out in agony at your waste of perfectly good snail flesh. "Mais non! L'escargot! L'escargot! Sacre bleu!"
