I could be happy with a 140 and a 125 wow lol . now are you Saltwater with them or ? SO far I have no interest to do a SW.

All cichlid. 140 and 125 mbuna and 90 lake Victoria. 20 g 2 rescue Bolivian rams and my sons 40 gb is pink and Black convicts.

specimin tank wise a 30 is fine if you're doing 50% or more water changes every week and have good filtration. For a large JD I'd use a 50 breeder over a 55. I've seen some incredible specimin tanks that were 29 gallon types, but done by real pros.
