So last weekend I bought a 10gal sump of a local aquarist who had made it DIY, as well as a few things that came with it. I plan on using it on my 37gal planted FW setup:
24" x 14" x 8" - eggcrate is removable
2000L/H (approx 525gph) powerhead, coarse sponge half a bag of ceramic noodles, bioballs (in plastic bag), DIY spray bar for running into the tank, leftover eggcrate
My question is what would you do with this sump, how would you set it up?
My aim is to have plants in this somewhere. I understand that'll be a little bit difficult with such a small sump. Preferably they would be terrestrial plants grown with emersed roots (something like a peace lily or pothos)
