My shrimp tank was unattended for some time and i came back to found so much algae kind of thing. I don't know if its hair algae or something else but its growing very fast. Is this thing harmful to shrimps if they graze on it or stay inside? I have frys in tank so its difficult for me to remove this algar or whatever because i may harm frys. Please advise if its hair algae and if its dangerous for invertebrates. Thanks

Yes that looks liek hair algae

You are going to have to try and remove as much of it as possible while locating the issue causing it.

One of the eaisest recommendations would be to clean out as much manually than do a full blackout of the tank, no light for 2- 3 days.

After than clean up more of what you can and keep at it.

Good luck
