Where to buy pool sand?

Has anyone purchased or know if they sell pool sand at Home Depot or Ace Hardware? I live in Flagstaff, AZ and have few options as far as pool supplu stores. Thanks!

no, home depot /ACE won't carry pool filter sand.

I would think in Arizona that pools would be abundant...a way to 'beat the heat'.

any pool supply shop should have some. there HAS to be one in your area.

Actually Malkore Home depot is exactly where I bought mine 6 weeks ago.

It may be a seasonal thing,but they had a pallet of it.

Most people think Arizona is one big desert. Flagstaff is located inthe largest Ponderosa Pine forest in the world and our altitude is 7,000 feet.
I don't know anyone who has an outdoor pool. Anyways, I went to the one LFS and we decided to go with some Eco-Complete and some nice natural gravel.
