Scrubs or a chisel?

I would chisel them off first to remove them then scrub the rock as I've seen people basically mince mushrooms up for them to then spread amd go mad.

Remove them as one with a chisel so you have no chance of leaving any cells behind then scrub the surface once they are all chiseled off

Yes I had a load of hairy mushrooms to get rid of
