I have white slime growing in my tank and I don't know what it is or if it is harmful? It's mostly on the gravel but is also growing on the fake plants. It does grow fairly rapidly.how do I get rid of this?

It almost sounds like it is rotting food from over feeding. Can you get a picture? Also do you have snails? Pond snails lay eggs that are white and slimey looking

Well you should only feed how much they will eat in a minute. Nothing should go to the bottom (except a chunk of algae tab)

Honestly if they are small fish that should probably only be like 5 flakes or so at a time.

Yeah do that much in the am and maybe afternoon too.

To get rid of it now you can do a water change with a gravel vacuum and if you need to pull up decorations and clean it off them by rinsing/swishing in tank water.
