Um, will activated carbon remove chloramine? I'd like to put a refidgerator water purifier in line with my auto top-off, so I don't need to add dechlor to my water. Says it will remove chlorine, but doesn't say anything about chloramines. Any ideas?

I can't remember where I read it but chloramines are much more difficult to remove.Best to use a dechlor. to be sure.

It prob won't jratuszn. Most only remove small amounts of chloramine. If there are chloramines in your tap water you'll need to continue to use a dechlor.

..you'll need to use a dechlor that specifically states it removes chloramines. there are some out there that do not. AmQuel, Prime...they do.
