Hi all,
I'm thinking of adding cherry shrimp to my tank eventually.

My current/potential stock(don't have all the fish yet...):

Platys
American flagfish
Corydoras
Honey gourami
Clown killifish

Will any eat shrimp?

Thanks!

Yes, if it fits in their mouth then they will eat it. You can improve the shrimps chances by lots of planting and lots of moss for the shrimp to hide in. I don't keep anything larger than Tetras with my cherry shrimp. The fish will pick off the young but with adequate cover enough young should survive to increase the shrimp colony.
It did take me three attempts though!

My rule of thumb is if it can fit in their mouth then it could be eaten. Of course some ore more prone to eating fish small than them and others just don't care and mind their own business.

If you have a lot of hiding spots, especially since shrimp are more bottom dwellers you could be ok. If it was me in that situation I'd get a few shrimp and see how it goes.
