Found this odd creature under a rock in my reef tank, after watching it moved around for a few minutes I saw it put out a duster. I know there are a lot of tube worms out there but I've never seen one detatched and "free swimming"
If it will put out a crown, you have yourself a feather duster. If they are not happy in the place where they are put, they can ditch the tube they are living in to find a place they are happy and build another one.
It does put out a crown, but I found out it's actually a peanut worm. I threw him into the overflow so he can clean up what gets sucked through and sit in the back of the tank
Oh, well still a good guy! I had a handful in my sandbed at one point in time. I'm sure they are still there, just that I simply don't see them anymore.
