I have these little tiny pencil tip worms crawling around the gravel in my tank. I spotted in between 7to10 of them. Not really sure what they are?

I have Camboda, mini amazon sword grass, amazon sword, and horn wort. All in my 50 gallon tank is have a 20watt plant bulb bought from Lowes. How many hours should I leave the light on.?

when you see them are they "S" shaped? and white? if so they are nematodes. any other description of them? (edited) a majority of worms found in freshwater tanks are from overfeeding or too much waste in the gravel bed. cutting back on the food and doing more water changes from the gravel usually clear this up
