WOW MY PLECOS FIGHT LOL

this is crazy I just seen my plecos literally hang onto each other and fight fora few seonds, i've never seen that before, it was aweosme, i wanna tape it next time lol oh and btw I've decided to keep the plecos that were dropped off and me and the other 2 fish, i'm gonna put them in my new 75 gallon

I too had 2 plecos fight when I still had them. They were both males and swam, sticked next to eachother, and 'hit' eachother with their gills covered in bristles. I think this issue only occurs when you have 2 males (or both same sex) and they are fighting over territory.

My two plecos used to fight over territory too. Then one day I came home from work and my older pleco, that'd I'd had since my tank was up and running, was dead. The new bristlenose looked quite happy, albeit a little ragged. I don't know if they attacked each other, but they sure fought alot.

I guess it doesn't help that they are jammed in a 10 gallon until I get the 75 up lol
