Hello. I have recently added a wrasse to my tank to eat what bristleworms I missed by plucking. Anyway, he started off just fine but has started swimming nose down and very rapidly moving about the tank. Does anyone know if this is normal behavior or if something is wrong with him. :?

Can you give us some more information about you tank and how you acclimated him to the tank? These questions will allow the members to more accurately evaluate the problem:

How long has the wrasse been in the tank?
What kind of wrasse is it?
How did you acclimate him?
What are the other tankmates?

How long has the tank been set up?
What are the water parameters (Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, SG, Temp, etc)?
What size tank?
What type of filtration?

I know this seems like a lot of information to provide but it will help us a lot to identify your problem.

I have solved my problem. I think LFS guy told me that my fish may be constipated causing pressure on the float bladder. yes I laughed at this and so did he. He told me to up the temperature a little and that may help. It did. He is swimming much better. I felt sorry for him because he really seemed frustrated.
