I know this is a fairly heavily debated subject on the forums here so I wanted to do a poll to see what everyone thinks is the minimum tank size for a yellow tang.

I'll separate them by the standard sized footprint as well as I can.

I have one In my 105, which is the same footprint as a 120. I don't think it's stressed at this point. Ultimately I'll have to find a bigger place for it, but right now I think it's ok.

I think the 6" idea that a lot of people throw around works. Is that a 125g? Don't have all the footprints memorized. I think that something like a 75 or 90g could work for a small one, but I would not keep it in there for too long.

Length more important than volume. For a juvenile tang even a 90 works IMO, but for adults I think a 120-150 is minimum. The longer the better.
