I have a 55 gallon, with 6 zebra danios, 5 peppered cories, a small oranda (4 inches and temporary) a pearl gourami and 2 ottos. One of the zebra danios, who's the biggest, is acting fine but is covered in clear slime. The slime covers it's body, from behind the gills, to the base of the tail. There's a clump of slime right beneath it's stomach. The fish's scales are sticking out and it looks almost feathery. It's acting like a normal danio and eating. It's hard to take a picture of but I'm trying.
What do you think happened to it? What should I do in the meantime?

If it helps, it kind of appears that the fish is growing another layer of scales, but the new ones are clear and aren't lying down.
