zoa and other coral question...

Just wondering if its normal for the zoas to close up often. They are all open most of the time but sometimes especially in the morning they are all closed up. I'd this normal? Could it be a sign of stress or...?? My Duncan whiskers does kinda the same thing along with my yellow polyps. Last WC everything was in great shape.

My zoas close every night and open up a little while after the lights have been on.

Cool. I was thinking it was normal but I'm still fairly new to the corals. Can't wait til I get some more money I can put into some more of them!

Yea it's a great hobby. I'm glad I ventured out of my freshwater side and hit the salty side.

My zoas also close up at night or whenever my blood shrimp walks over them.

Ya most coral close at night when the lights are off.
