So something weird is happening with one of the patches of zoanthids on my zoa garden. For about a week now, most of the zoas in that cluster stay open for like half of the day and then close up for the rest of it?, and I can't see why. None of the other zoa clusters are acting that way, and I'm not seeing any sundial snails or zoa-eating nudis on these. Would moving them higher up towards the surface be in order? Or would I have to try something else? As always, all inputs are appreciated!

They will open and close on their own sometimes, though it could be just about anything irritating them if this is something that is happening long term. If you are going to move them, then you might as well dip them while you're at it. End up covering all the bases.

Any alk swings lately. My zoas usually are the first to distress when I have an alk swing.
