Aquarium Advice Addict
Hi all I have 7 saulosi in mixed mbuna tank and yesterday found one dead. Waters fine, actually perfect and did water change day before. Could my male that's almost fully colored have done it. He's only fish that's close to a bully and be chases everyone but not too bad at all. But today I noticed( wasn't looking yesterday) that my biggest female is holding ( I think). That makes me think the male did it. I think the dead one was a male starting to change. I had 7 of them and think maybe 3 maybe 4 are/were male so I planned to trade a couple as I figured it out for females but didn't see need get as aggression didn't appear bad. The fish had its stomach eaten out when I found it. Any ideas what coulda happened?
