Feeding issues help needed

Just want to see what folks suggest for small quarter sized convicts. I got small cichlid pellets. The fish seem to catch one and swim around with it quite awhile, and many simply settle on bottom. Feeding about 1 or 2 pellets/fish. have been crushing them now.

What is recommended for these small guys?

For my smaller cichlids i crush up flakes in my finger for them and baby brine shrimp they love BBS

If they can hold them in their mouth then they are chewing them and getting some nourishment. Look into aqueon mini pellets. They are tiny, only slightly larger in diameter than the lead stick from a 0.7 pencil.

Flakes will work fine too.

Also I think twice daily might be good while they are so small.
