Help on my new 55! PLEASE

I I buy a 55 gallon tank for $100, a deal I knew I couldn't pass up. Now I don't know what to do with it fish wise. I kind of want to upgrade my mbuna cichlids to it but I was always a fan of the South American cichlids

What SA cichlids can I put in a 50 gallon? What about stocking and aquascaping? I'm open to anything and everything!

I just need as much help and advice or suggestions as possible.

A community would be ideal but a species would also work.

There are several different dwarf species that you could mix with some tetras, danios and bottom feeders like pictus cats and bristle nose plecos.
