Here are a few pictures. Does the right side look "dead" to you? Do I need to add something there for some surface agitation? Or does it look fine? It's a 55 bow front with a Marineland penguin I forget the model I think maybe 350(not sure) it has slots for 4 filters and it has dual bio-wheels.

Anyway how does it look? Should I add something? If so what would you suggest? Power head, another smaller filter, air stone or is it ok?

That filter is plenty. Your fish don't even need as much surfaced agitation as it provides. Nothing to worry about.

You are fine with what you have. Until I upgraded to my 125 I never had the need for a power head.
