I just got an RO/DI system for my frogs but I know salt water ppl rave about it and fresh water ppl say it really helps with algae, which I have a problem with. Also my city water is crap.
Ive seen people mention that if you use RO water you have to reintroduce minerals, which is fine, others say they use some RO water some tap?
I cant find anything about whether DI water is suitable for freshwater fish.
Can someone advise what the best way to go about using RO/DI water for his tank is? Is it safe? What do I need to add in other than salt and pH control?
