stressed discus

I've noticed the bars on a few of my discus are showing. How can u help with their stress? If I shut the lights off their colors come out and no more bars

Added two more discus and now everyone has came to life like they own the tank. Just wanna say I love discus

so the bars on the body is gone after you added 2 extract discus?

I think until you get your water parameters in check and the proper diet established I'd stop adding more fish, these aren't $2 fish and to put them through a mini-cycle is very stressful. Always a good idea to quarantine the fish for 4 weeks before adding them to the display tank.

No it was that the discus just weren't really active quite yet but when I did add the other two all of the discus began to school and swim together

And with the diet I lost my discus after getting the new ones
