I've noticed recently 2 of my yellow labs are turning black in the face, why is this?? One of them, possibly two are in my 125. The other is the only yellow lab in one of my 75 gallons. I tried to get a couple photos, however you really can't tell a whole lot from the photo, its really weird.

When they get a black face and ventral fins, it means they are becoming the dominant male. I have two males. One has a very black face and ventral fins. The other one slight black face.

That explains it! Goes along with the other things I'm seeing from the way they're acting, lol. Thank you!
