I decided to stop being lazy about my tank maintenance and get on my high horse about it. I have all HOB stuff and I am thinking I want to go with a HOB refugium or 10 gal below. I can't decide. Any advice or criticism is allowed. I'm still learning. Here's my tank updated as of today.

Stock:
Clarkii clown
2 damsels
Sixline wrasse

Corals:
Assorted mushrooms
Small zoa colony
Frogspawn
Colt coral

I have a 20 gal long tank as well! It should fit in my stand! Should I put any bioballs or media in the first chamber? Or just let it lead right to the refugium

It is best to go as big as possible but remember to give yourself room to work. I would say the 10g would be sufficient. The first chamber is usually the skimmer and heater, second is filtration media or macro algae, and third is the pump.
