So I purchased some candy apple zoanthids a few weeks ago, and they opened up great and look incredible. However, recently a clump detached and was moving around by the current until it got stuck in between a couple of rocks. It's been there for two days now, and they still open and look great. My question is, will they survive?
-the "clump" is just 3 polyps that extend from the same piece.
-also, out of curiosity, I know that nitrates are bad for corals, but will they eliminate minimal amount as will plants?

They will survive :) they do that from time to time and will soon take over your tank so be careful as you might have to frag :) if you do start trading for other things at you LFS
