Alright, here are some pictures of my tank. I still have a lot of work to do to make it look better, like a black background; etc.. It is definitely a work in progress so don't judge lol! Sorry for the dirty glass.

Nice looking tank. Are you running a two bulb t 5 and what kind of anemone is that will it host a clown fish?

Thanks! I am actually running a 4 bulb 24" Coralife Metal Hallide Light System w/Ballast. It has 2 moon lights and very hot white light in the middle which I only turn on a couple hours a day, if that. It is more than I need, but when I saw it on craigslist for $50 I couldn't pass it up, especially since I plan on getting a much bigger tank. Before I found that I was going to get this lighting system: Amazon.com: Aqualight 20 96W 6700K Quad Power Compact Strip: Home Improvement.

As far as the anemone I am told that it is a corynactis californica or strawberry anemone or closely related species. It grows single heads like that in clusters in dark over hangs and crevices. I have several of them,I am hoping that they do cluster because they are pretty. From what I understand, the clown won't host it.:(

Ok thanks how is your water temp with that light fixture? Yeah she really wants that anemone and clown might be the only fish she has in the tank.

With the 4 blues running about 10 -12 hours a day it stays right around 78. I keep the house pretty cool though which might be why. With the hot lights it raises it a couple degrees so I only leave them on a few hours a day while I am home and I only one run one type at a time. I don't want to fry my tank.

Yeah those metal halides get pretty warm I want some on my bigger tank just don't want to buy a chiller. Thanks for the info I will post pictures when I start it up in a couple of weeks can't wait.
