Hey guys I need to top up my water in my 9 gallon nano tank with fresh water I have distilled water to do it now my only problem is how much do I put in? I don't have any salt to add to it if I put to much but I do have more salt water I can add my sg is at 1.028

You don't add salt to your top up water, you just use fresh water

Whatever evaporates and hold 1.020 - 1.026 salinity

Distilled water is okay to use short term but I would switch over to ro when you can.

When you have your tank at the level you want it to be, take a sharpie and draw a line in one of the corners. That way you'll know how much you need to top off without the assistance of an ATO.

They sell RO units you can attach to your own water supply or your lfs might sell some. I would ask

Pure water club, google them. They have the best prices on their filters and systems. I had a small prob with mine after having it for around 3 months and they sent me a whole new system. Great products and service! Like 70 for an entire system
