Hey crew,
I have an unusual problem. My pH is running about 8.5-8.7 constantly.

I have a 120 gallon Display Tank
I have a 140 gallon Coral Farm

Both running (2) 120w LED Pendants.

Display tank runs at 8.1-8.3
Coral Farm runs at 8.5-8.7

What would cause such a higher ph level.

I have tried adding white distilled vinegar, it works, only temporarily.
Water changes do not affect anything at all.

In an hour or so its right back up.

Can anyone help me?

My new-ish 90 gallon runs in that range as well... I'm not sure it's a problem though... LOW pH would be hard on corals, higher numbers should actually make it EASIER for them to calcify. ... I'm not really sure just how base the pH would have to be before causing problems.
