All set. Now what?

So I'm finally set with all the equipment in my 29 gallon tank.
CPR aquafuge2 hob refugium
Aquac remora hob skimmer
fluval 205 canister
30 lbs of live rock
2 clowns , 1 3 stripe damsel and 4 hermit crabs

how and how often should I be cleaning the refugium and the skimmer. I have cheteau algea and live sand in my refugium . Should I add bio balls/carbon in it?
The water parameters seem to be ok.
Can I Add a small hippo tang??
Any other recommendations are welcome

There is no way I would add even a tiny hippo tang to a 29 gallon tank they need zoom room or they get stressed and end up with lateral line disease or hold in the head. I really clean my skimmer once a month and I keep the cup clean in between times. Don't add bioballs they just collect stuff and become a nitrate factory. I added chem pure elite to my fuge instead of just carbon.

I have the aqua c remora also. You need to start breaking it in soon if you havent already. It says it could take 2-3 weeks. Although mine is starting to pull some gunk after only bout 5 days.

What do you mean by start breaking it in? Is there something I have to do .

Just run it. It produces a zillion micro bubbles
they say it takes maybe 2 weeks to get it broken in and working efficiently.
