I am considering getting one soon. I have done some research but i'd like to know what someone that actually has or had one thinks about them. Any input is welcome. Thanx

very hard to keep. hard to get eating. make sure you witness the one you buy eating before you buy it.
I had one. He was a favorite fish. Always ate well, followed me when I walked by the tank. Then one day he disappeared. He was the biggest fish in the tank no one bothered him and no way the clean up crew could devour him in a few hours. Only thing I can think of was that he went into the overflow. Its a 30in tall tank so it is nearly impossible to see the bottom of the overflow.
