back ground?

Whats a good paint to use on the back of the tank? Is there a certian type thats used or will any paint work? Im looking at painting the back blue or black. Also does the color matter?

I used Teflon Black Spray paint for the back of a small nano tank for my friend. 2-3 coats were needed, but it looks awesome.
