can I mix soft and hard corals?

I have gonipora,chalices,a few mushrooms, a couple recordia mushrooms,bubble tip anenome,some zooanthids.
Iv'e seen pictures of both but I have heard that the mushrooms release a toxin that can kill the hard corals. Do you think I can add some acropora?

Any advice would be great.

You think of Toadstools AKA Sarcophytons. These are the ones that release the nasties. So go nuts on the Acros. Just make sure you have proper lighting and flow and research them well before buying one.
