Candy cane coral

Hey guys need some help here. Few days back i was doing a water change and as i took out my mp 40 it slipped out of my hand and it dropped directly at the coral. I took him out quickly from the sand but ever since then he has been shriveled up. I fed him some phytofeast live and he blew up (plumped up) but an hour later he shriveled back up. Any idea on how I can get him to open back up like how he was before?

Give it some time to recover on its own? Try not to move it around or mess with it much. Did you notice any actual damage to it?

I have fragged my candy cane by dropping my light in the tank...it's a hardy coral, just give it time to heal. I personally would just leave it alone.
