Does any fish eat Lettuce Nudibranchs?

I have a 4-5" porcupine puffer and need algae control. Anyone ever put a Lettuce Nudi in with a porky? Will he eat it? Die?

Hmmm, not sure the lettuce nudis are toxic, most fish know this instinctively and leave them alone, so I would say it has a better than average chance, but I've never tried it.

My supplier indicated they were toxic. Not sure how smart this fish is. He bites at the plastic tweezers instead of the food sometimes. Duh!

LOL, I almost posted about porc puffers not being the brightest bulbs in the batch, but didn't want to offend any puffer lovers out there Good luck with the nudi, are you having problems with hair algae?

Only in the puffer tank. I resorted to extremely limiting the photo period. Got a reply from Pufferlover at the yahoo group. Says the puffer will likely nip the nudibranch before finding it doesn't care for the taste - possibly killing it. I may end up putting the nudi in the reef tank although there isn't much in the way of microalgae. I read they are photosynthetic feeders as well.
He also said he is using Kole Tangs in puffer tanks to control hair algae. If I can find one big enough so he's not food I'll try it.
