eheim 2215 - CHEMI PURE

In a few days I will be cleaning out my eheim canister filter and replace it with new pads.

I will put two 10oz bags of Chemi-pure.. I am wondering what else can I put in there besides that? I only want media that will help keep the water crystal clear.
