ok here's an interesting story (to me :p), also my 2nd question.

i acquire a feather duster about 1 1/2 months ago. and about 4 weeks ago the feather duster seems death (does not come out from the tube at all for about 3 weeks!).

and last week, from the same tube, a smaller (half the size of its 'father') feather appear...

i am puzzled. does any seen the same thing? any idea what happened? i don't think its an offspring coz not possible it will grow this big in 3 weeks time...

i'll post some pic when i get back home tonight. ;)
THANKS!

Feather dusters can lose their tops and regrow them. It is the same feather duster as feather dusters do not populate other tubes as far as I know. I've had a few do this, small social feather dusters.

thanks for the reply.
is that a sign of unhealthy water condition or it is just normal? :)
