GIRL OR BOY CLOWN???

i am thinking of breeding clown fish(just thinking)and i was wondering how to tell what the sex of the clown is.

put two young clowns together and one will become the female (bigger of the two) and one will become the male.

If you are serious, i would pick up the book Clownfishes by Joyce Wilkerson, it is a complete resource for keeping and breeding clownfish. It takes quite a bit of time, unless you are prepared for dedicated larval rearing tanks and committed feeding many times a day...I would ponder something else.

If you want an easy breed, get a pair of mollies. Can't stop the horny little things. I've got mine in separate tanks and they still breed!
