Has anyone painted the back of their tank??

Has anyone ever painted the back side of their tank? If so, is there a special paint? Any words of wisdom or things to be mindful of?

I have sprayed a few tanks black, I used Krylon semi-gloss. Spray thin coats, it will take 4 to 5 to get good coverage.

I painted the back of mine black, so that it is not a distraction. It looks great. I just used a common latex gloss.

I used a mini roller and flat latex on several tanks. I wish I would have done so on the 175...

I used Krylon Fusion for the back of my tank.

I used a can of blue oil based on my tank. One THICK coat with a brush. I'll take pics tomorrow and post em !
