How many "buttons" grow per week? Do they grow pretty quick?

Don't think you can classify a button per week to them but some grow faster than others. IME, duller colors grow faster 
The tri color zoos I have been selling are very fast growers but most other bright colored ones I have are slow. The browns ones grow fast too. I have some orange/green and all orange that have went from 5 to 15 polyps in about a year.
Really depends on your water and light. I have a friend that has some of the same stuff and I have faster growth. I have halides and more water volume though. When I first had my tank setup, I noticed a spike in growth at about the 6 month mark. Sort of a maturity issue I guess. Some tanks hit this at differnt times though. I had decent growth before the halides too though.
