I have a 2x54watts daylight 2x54watts blue light. HO T5
Is that too much? Do I need to place it in shade?

Sun coral are non-photsynthetic. They don't need any light, and if your lights are too strong they will just close up and open up to feed at night, like they usually do. Shady spots to put it are best, and will allow you to train them to extend their polyps during the day. That requires a lot of feeding though, and i don't know much about them.

i feed mine once a week and they seem to do fine. sometimes they open in the day, sometimes they dont

they are very nice because you can put them in places you wouldn't put other corals due to shadowing. i would not put them in direct light at all. find a cave or something you can reach to feed.
