Iwaki Jap or USA model?

I am about to purchase an Iwaki pump. I have two choices - USA built or Japanese. The specs are identical for both, but the price difference is significant.

Does anyone know the pros/cons for the pumps? The only info I got is that the USA models run a little bit hotter. Which should not be a problem since Iwakis` don`t transfer heat to the water. Or do they?

If all things being equal, I would rather buy the US model.

definately the japenese version. The WMD american models are a little louder and more prone to failure. You are getting what you pay for.
