I received my fuge light and phosphate reactor today. Sump light fits perfectly. Starting the process of brewing fresh water to fill the tank.

Ok so the tank is officially up and running. I have added 150lbs of arganite sand and seeded it with 20 lbs of live sand from reliable lfs. Adjusting salinity with my new refractometer which I absolutely love. So now I fear having two tanks running at the same time. Hopefully won't take long to cycle so I can shut my 90 gallon down

So I took 80% of my liverock out of my 90 gallon reef and put it into the 125. Let me know what you think. Man the 90 gallon looks bare

Can't wait for my new light to arrive to see the new tank in it's real form. Added about 100 lbs of liverock today and I think I am happy at how it turned out

Ok so my water parameters look like this after a week and a half
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5
Ph 8.0
Temp 78.8
Salinity 1.027
May have luckily had a short cycle by running my fugue the whole time as well as a fresh sand bed and 100lbs of liverock

Cool tank. I have the overflows in the same spot. I wish it was corner plumbed instead

Hey mr x I had a small spike which went up to 5 ppm but was gone in a day or two. Nitrites went to a minimal amount and then yesterday they were zero and nitrates went up a bit. I still don't have new light so I plan on just letting the tank run
